What to Include in Bug Reports

The more detail you share, the faster I can track down the problem. Ideally, include:

Feature Requests

Have an idea for a new tool or an improvement to an existing one? I'm always looking to make DisplayPixels more useful. Past user suggestions have directly shaped features like the credit-card calibration on the PPI ruler and the manufacturer warranty table on the dead-pixel page. When suggesting a feature, a short description of what you'd like and why it would be useful is all I need.

Response Times

I typically respond within 1–3 business days. If you've reported something urgent that affects measurement accuracy, please mention "urgent" in the subject line and I'll prioritise it.

During busy periods responses may take a little longer. I appreciate your patience — every message does get read and answered.

Partnerships & Press

If you're a tech blogger, educator, YouTube creator, or tool-directory curator and would like to feature DisplayPixels, I'm happy to help. I can provide:

Just email hello@displaypixels.io with your request.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is DisplayPixels really free?

Yes — every tool is free to use, with no sign-up required. The site is supported by a small number of non-intrusive ads. There are no premium tiers or paywalls.

Do you collect my screen data?

No. All measurements are calculated locally in your browser and never leave your device. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

Can I use DisplayPixels commercially?

Absolutely. Developers, QA teams, IT support departments, and educators are welcome to use and share the tools in a commercial context. See the Terms of Service for acceptable-use details.

The tool shows the wrong resolution — is it broken?

Usually not. The most common causes of unexpected readings are browser zoom (set it to 100%), display scaling in your OS settings, or multi-monitor setups where the browser window is on a secondary display. Try opening the page in a fresh browser tab at default zoom to get the most accurate result.
