DisplayPixels

Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2026

DisplayPixels ("we", "us", "the site") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the site does — and does not — collect when you use the tools at displaypixels.io.

1. What Data We Collect

Short answer: almost nothing. All DisplayPixels tools (screen resolution checker, refresh-rate test, PPI ruler, dead-pixel test, colour/HDR check, and @media helper) run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The measurements — your screen size, viewport dimensions, device-pixel-ratio, refresh rate, colour depth, and any other readings — are calculated locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

We do not collect, store, or process:

2. Cookies

DisplayPixels itself does not set any first-party cookies. However, our advertising partner (Google AdSense) and the font provider (Google Fonts) may set their own cookies or use local storage as part of their services. These third-party cookies are governed by their respective privacy policies:

3. Third-Party Services

Google AdSense. We display a small number of advertisements provided by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.

Google Fonts. We load the "Inter" typeface from Google Fonts. This causes your browser to make a request to Google's servers, which may log standard connection data (IP address, browser user-agent). See Google Fonts Privacy FAQ.

4. Data Storage

DisplayPixels has no user accounts, no databases, and no server-side application code. The site is served as static HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files. No personal data is stored on our infrastructure because no personal data is ever sent to it.

5. Children's Privacy

DisplayPixels is a general-audience utility site. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service on this site, please contact us.

6. Your Rights

Because we do not collect personal data, there is typically nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions about how Google's advertising cookies affect your data, please refer to Google's privacy tools linked above or contact us and we will help where we can.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

8. Contact
